The Cumberland Academy Middle School PTO will be hosting its first annual “Spring Fling” on Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and will help raise much needed funds for our school and children.
In addition to fun and games and a teacher student basketball game, we will be holding a raffle for awesome prizes. The raffle tickets will be on sale before and after school and during the lunch breaks. Cash or checks will be accepted (checks need to be made out to CAMS PTO). Tickets will be sold for $5 each or 5 for $20 through the day of the Spring Fling, March 19th, 2015. Prizes will include an iPad Mini, 2 tickets to a Texas Rangers baseball game and the Grand Prize will be a summer swim and clubhouse membership to Lake Tyler Petroleum Club (value of $450.00) along with other great prizes. The drawing for prizes will be held at 7:30 PM at the Spring Fling. Students NEED NOT BE PRESENT at the Spring Fling to win.
All of the proceeds raised are used to purchase materials and assist in funding for field trips and banquets for our school and students. This year our students will be going on the following field trips: the 6th grade class will go to Medieval Times in Dallas, the 7th grade class will go to a Texas Rangers baseball game in Arlington, and the 8th grade class will go to Six Flags Over Texas, in Arlington. Our school will also be hosting the 8th grade banquet at KE Bushman’s as well. It is an exciting time for our young school and we are proud to be a part of this wonderful group!
We hope that you will help us support this fundraising endeavor. We are seeking donations of merchandise, admission tickets, gift cards or services to be raffled off at the event. All donations are tax deductible and donors will all be recognized in our event book.
The Cumberland Academy Middle School PTO goal is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. The Cumberland Academy Middle School PTO contributes to the education program by supporting our students and staff with volunteers, awards, supplies, and other needed support for the school.
