I am eager to begin my first year to serve as Cumberland Academy's Middle School Band Director. This will be my third year of teaching. In 2014, I earned my degree in Music Education from Abilene Christian University. During my time at ACU, I was able to perform in the Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and Big Purple Marching Band. In these ensembles, I was able to perform at the College Band Directors National Association Conference in March of 2014. My professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Bandmasters Association. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the flute and piano, photography, traveling, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. I am very excited about the upcoming year and joining the CAMS team! Below are some pictures of my family as well as from my travels in recent years!
Me, Laquita, Curtis, Logan, (my brothers and sister-in-law), and my parents at Yellowstone in 2014.
My family with our dogs. My brother and sister in law own the two black labs: Gus and Lizzie (Lizzie is the one by me). My other brother owns the white dog who is a wolf hybrid named Chief and you can barely see Sofie, who is my parent's miniature schnauzer.
