CAMS Concert Choir (Period 6th)
Course Description
CAMS Concert Choir (audition required for 6th grade, no audition for 7th/8th grades) Concert Choir will cover an extensive review of basic fundamental vocal skill and technique along with solfege sight-reading, music theory, music history and two to three part singing which will allow students with some experience to feel challenged and continue to grow in their choral abilities while allowing those with little to no experience an opportunity to learn. The goal of this choir is to build confident singers and vocal sight-readers. Students will perform two concerts and participate in UIL Concert & Sight-reading Competition per calendar school year.
