All About Me
Hello! My name is Mrs. Jennifer Reed. I am the 6th to 8th Grade Resource Teacher at Cumberland Academy Middle School. I am looking forward to an exciting year! It will be my 9th year teaching. I have a background in Special Education, as well as Behavior Intervention. I started at Cumberland Academy in March 2020.
I attended The University of Texas at Tyler (GO PATRIOTS!) to receive my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Special Education, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2013. I attended Grand Canyon University (GO 'LOPES!) to receive my Master of Arts in Autism Spectrum Disorders, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2017.
I was born and raised on the outskirts of Dallas, I have lived in Canton, TX since the summer of 2010. I have now lived in East Texas for almost 14 years! with two amazing daughters, Adeline (15) and Olivia (11), two dogs, and four cats.
