About Me

Welcome to the 2023-24 school year at Cumberland Academy Middle School "CAMS." I am so excited to join this excellent staff and meet our 6th-8th grade students. I have worked in education for over 30 years, 12 of which were focused on the middle school student. I have a background in K-12 physical education, technology and education administration. I received my Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Texas Pan American (UTRGV) and my Master of Education Administration from West Texas A&M University. I am a wife of 38 years to Darin and a mom of three grown children, CJ and his wife Caitlan and Mikayla. I love to travel and enjoy the beautiful landscape of our United States of America. My down time is spent relaxing on my back porch and enjoying my little Aussie/dachshund, Daisy Mae.
