Middle school is a time when students begin to apply what they’ve learned and experienced, on their quest to discover who they are.

Cumberland Academy Middle School combines academics, experiences and environment to provide an exceptional learning opportunity. 

• Our curriculum incorporates core courses, a wide range of electives and technology integration to prepare students for the future.

• Our emphasis on arts, athletics and activities gives students first-hand experiences in a wide range of music, arts, performance and visual arts.  Student-athletes can begin scholastic competition in sixth grade.

• Our small school setting creates an environment where students are known and appreciated, friendships are made and opportunities abound to try new things in a supportive community.

Instead of competing just for a chance to participate, grades 6-8 students get involved, discover their strengths, and lay their personal groundwork for high school and a promising future.
