Start collecting change from friends, family, couches, and parking lots because the PENNY WARS was officially approved! Starting Monday, September 30, 2024, every grade will have their own jug in the front office to collect loose change (dollar bills will be GRACIOUSLY accepted as well), and every cent will go toward their class field trip.
Here's how it works- All pennies and dollars are counted as POSITIVE points (added) toward the total while all silver coins are counted as NEGATIVE points (subtracted) from the total. To be the grade with the most points, students will want to put pennies and dollars in their own class jug and put the silver coins in the other class jugs! The grade with the most POINTS will earn lunch in the courtyard. The more silver coins placed in other jugs will increase the chance of winning.The winner will be announced Friday, November 8th, 2024. The date for lunch in the courtyard will be chosen by Mrs. Swift and will be dependent on the weather.
